HOW WE TREAT EACH OTHER’

” HOW WE TREAT EACH OTHER’.”This is the real world language that touches the needs of the people, city, and our community of citizenry”. Posted 5/6/2010 8:28 AM CDT on shreveporttimes.com

A provocation ………a challenge, a change, a choice, and options, becomes ours ,  to make decisions…

We come upon another cycle to choose:  We look at our progress and we look at the pathways we must travel, we look at our population and we look at our landscape. We consider the nature of growth, we see the areas that declined, and the areas which simply eroded over the years, then we must choose “how do we grow”..

What attributes make us become what we aspire to be. Then we navigate our resources, as well as we look at what we have as attributes. These elements craft our formations of the designs we draft for reaching our goals.
What does matter is the attitude, – We either preach despair, or we teach progress. We either speak all things of our weakness, or we embrace our strengths.
We look at our crime, and we must think what is the option for opportunity- We look at our challenged, and find out how to embrace them within the performance of facing our trials.

We can demean ourselves and doubt our people, or we can have faith and build hope within our bases of citizenry.  These choices are within our realm.

We can think about defeat and become defeated, or we can learn to fight and reach, reach and fight, and build dreams, or we can chase despair.

We can rally cry with circles of mob like yelps about our weakness, or we can feed ourselves belief and grasp for our strengths.  These are choices.

We can look at how entities functions as separates, or we can choose how to learn to work as teams, we can build mini empires, or we can craft a city which is itself a tower of strength.

We can look at the Federal aims, or we can loose ourselves, if the fights posed by the opposition party,. This is not functioning like a support party.
These are truth we can acknowledge or we can deny.  We can cry about wanting “yesterday, and miss out on what builds our tomorrow.

We can stand around and claim we don’t care and speak about the devise of collusion we see in the political landscape of societies, not just ours but around the world.
We can stand around and point fingers and call names, and ride on the illusion of a fake elation of a fight, or we can unite and use our energy to craft unity.  and become wise in what makes for a strong city, and stand up community– but we gain nothing with devise, nor the effort to divide.

America, not just a nation but its cities stand at the cross-roads, to re-learn how to build; we have to re-learn how to grow. Not just wait for industry to be carted in on the bed of a truck. But look at our landscape and ask ourselves,  why we no longer farm, nor do we support the creation of farms, yet we eat daily, and complain about the industry produced foods, which taste nothing like what we have once known, or we can support measures to find way to inspire the creation not just of farms, but learn again, what it is to have ranchers, who are not massive industrial feeder programs, of livestock which never see’s the light of day, or we can find ways to support the localized individuals who still know the beauty and realness of engaging these task.

IF, WE REALIZE, we have land, which we relegated to grow weeds, rather than to grow what feeds a city, and inspires a region of growth industry.  We have Pecan Orchards, we ignore, and let weeds grow, and build not market that pushes this abundant and vital product.  Do we see these things are small but larger than we imagine. Yet they feed resources into our city, and income generation unto the people.

We can look around as ask ourselves, many questions, and wonder why we deny ourselves the options to believe that we can build within, and re-inspire our community economics, to make community show business, based within the many sectors of our city.  Or we can remain unemployed, and hope everyone gets a job behind a desk, and give orders based on Wall Street money mangers, in their shuffle of paper, which sells foreign goods for our consumption.

Yes, we have those options.
Shall we stand around and continue to claim attitudes and make assumptions and judgments about our skin , and find both black and white despaired, jobless, working, while  being under-paid, because no industry believes we as a people in this nation can perform.  Will we watch our over 40 population,  fade into despair, because we worship only a degree, and despise the gained knowledge of those who labored many years in many jobs, and learned many skills.  and we put them to pasture for the lack of a certificate, as we deny them as being capable, and think they cannot learn, nor do we regard the many works they can do. We look upon them with disdain- yet, their works help build what of a nation we currently have.  We spot patch our roads, that last until the next rain, rather than fix them for longevity, and learn it become unto us as a saving to do so,  as well as improve our infrastructure in the process.  We have to look at other models in re-surfacing which gives us production and services, between the span of the 20-30 yr strips and rebuild process.  If we engage the 3-5-7 ur processes based on the areas usage of our streets and roads.

We have become a nation that LET’S WALL STREET TELL US WE ARE A FAILURE, BECAUSE THEY CAN’T REAP MORE AND ROB US BLIND AND SELL AWAY MORE OF OUR INDUSTRY- We let BANKER TELL US WE ARE NOT WORTHY, BUT THEY WANT OUR DEPOSITS, BUT THEY CHARGE US RATES WHICH IS UNREADL BECAUSE BECUASE THEY DON’T BELIEVE IN US, BUT THEY PAY THEMSELVES WITH THE EARNING FROM THE DOLLARS WE DEPOSIT IN THEIR INSTITUTIONS.  AND WE ALLOW IT, AND ASK NOT, FOR OUR POLITICIANS TO – BEEF UP, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIVISIONS, AND FORCE THE MANDATE TO MAKE SBA & Economic Development to  BECOME DIRECT LENDERS, TO FORCE BANKS AND OTHER INSTITUTION TO LEARN TO RESPECT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, and not gouge us on high interest rates and systemic denial processes.

WHERE DO WE START, “WE START WITHIN CITY“, AND THEN WE EXPAND IT WITHIN STATE , UNTIL THE NATION COMES TO SUPPORT US with awareness anbd like models, , AND NOT LET THE BANKS THAT HOLD US HOSTAGE AND MAKE US INDENTURED. then turn and deny us, reasonable lending services.

BANKS CHOKED DOWN THE NATION, BUT NO LOCAL AND STATE AGENCIES STEPPED UP, AND FILLED THE VOID TO LEND TO THE AMERICAN CITIZEN. SO OUR ECONOMY TUMBLED, FOR THE WILL AND WANT OF BANKS, WHO SAW NO NEED TO LOAN, BASED ON A SOCIETY THEY HAD ALREADY ROBBED.

We must select and install some elements, for out growth aims,  DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC POLICY and  PROGRAM, Established with a DIRECTORIAL LEADERSHIP –   This is a simple fix, and one we must embrace to engage.

IT TAKES NO GENUIS, to do these jobs, it is not about what degree one holds, nor should it be about who’s who based on status  BECAUSE THERE ARE NONE OF SUCH WHICH SAVED THIS NATIONS FROM THIS CRISIS WE CURRENTLY FIND OURSELVES,  IT TAKES- SIMPLY,  INDIVIDUALS WITH WILL, DETERMINATION AND THE WANT TO SEE US GROW, THE VISION TO PURSUE MODELS TO HELP US PROSPER AND THE UNDERSTANDING, that is a simple truth, because  IF WE DON’T GROW then WE WITHER.

Now what have we become, when the pull of Wall Street, tell us, we no longer can respect our citizens all because and  for their lack of degree, and we cannot count on our people, because their learning did not come from an institution that has reputable wealth and political clout, and alumni followings, who dominate the business ranks, with their claim, that only other alumni are valuable.

We must respect individuals,  from the actual  ranks of our society, who have invested equally so, years, into daily works of performing for the many years which make up their life, a wide variety of jobs, that have been the backbone of American people.

What have we become- when we despise the labor doer’s in our midst, and create a cast and class system, that separates our people of city and community- and claim princes and kings, with titles of many sorts.  and in the full of it, we wonder why our economy and our nations is in shambles, with joblessness, homelessness, and despaired youth, whom are too filled with images of hopelessness, they have lost the spirit of learning.

They no longer can see their parents with jobs and hope within those jobs, they no longer see their laboring parents being respects and they watch as their parents are lesser regard for lack of degree- and put to the spin cycle, where despair encircles the livelihood of the home and community.   For what?  Status, above respecting creative and work ethic’s – we must change, to again learn to respect American people. as the people who make up the nation.

Corporations don’t simply produce because of the executive but it is done because and with, the labors of the work force whom produce the goods and provides the services.  this simple process will never be diminished in the value it denotes and the quality that is derived from “people performance”.

We let single mothers, languish without opportunity and children go hungry because a mother lacks a degree, but has a strong mind, able hands and willing efforts to engage the labors of work.. to build and nourish her family.  But who is willing to give her a job, without the label of a degree or a certificate. Yet, she is capable of learning and engaging the training at the job site, which is provided in every job, within the system of business.

Everyone will not be an administrative professional, nor will each person become and executive, nor a technical professional. Why we ignore that truth, and deny that reality is absurdities that waste away the talents of individuals and stifles natural creativity which bring forth improvements in every level of works within this nation of ours.
We lost the passion to regard what ingenuity of our people.  but if we look back at what constitutes and what constituted American growth, it was created by the ‘Everyday people”..

People who held hope, they believed in opportunity, and they could and did engage creativity because they could bring it to the marketplace. But today, there is a mountain of madness, that defeats the individuals, and more process that takes the spirit out of creativity, and collusions of every sort, that breeds and stand with pride in making hopeless feeling, thus, drive far too many in our society to feel – what’s the use”, when oppositions have lost regard for the creations of American people,  for the dime store elements, that continue to make our land fills over-flow.  And what are we plagued with, other than many people resorting to selling drugs, because there is too much drawn out oppositional challenge to creating legitimate business ventures.  and sadly, our youth see more models of this madness, than they see of neighborhood business sprang up in their localized community.

Yes, the election is about everything we are – and it is about all that we hope to become.

If you have never voted, then you need to start, this is a vote for yourself, this is a vote for belief in our growth as a city, and it is a vote for the betterment of our unity-

Nothing states we need to change leaders, but we need to be a population, that supports the lead, and give our stand behind what is leadership, and push forth for what makes our city become the stability our communities make.

We’d be fools of delusion, to think that magic happens by abandoning our current model, but we may be wise, to learn to become inspired to push forth with the leader we elect.

Our works have been many over the past 4 years, and we made great strides in many areas, as we had much to overcome- today our ways is much clearer as a result- if we stand to go forth- and build what we can and create what we may- and be determined to make this city be all it can be…

If you vote, you are involved, if you don’t vote, you detract from what is self invested interest in the very city in which you live.  and your complacency becomes a burden unto all within the city and unto all the citizens that make up this city.   You may ask your self, how much of democracy do you believe in.  If you belief that Majority rules, then if you are for or against a candidate, then you pledge to give your support to whom wins the position, or you don’t believe in the democracy you claim to state.
You may not like the choices in every matter, but you have not much choice than to state your case,  but do not damage to curtail progress, but push to insure the measures within the process, are clear and that we get the best from what is chosen and do the best with what is built.   this means, we hold all leaders accountable, and we yield not to the lobbyist buying away our voice, nor our choice.   Always is the winner one or the other- but much can be made into the process if we know what our aims are. then we build and work to make them come to be as best we can, without destroying our system of democracy.

Then we regain the ability to build our cities, and make strong our communities.

A provocation ………a challenge, a change, a choice, and options, becomes ours ,  to make decisions…
