Public Schools – Make it the Childrens Choice

It has to become the choice of the children to make the Public Schools be the best. Come prepared to learn, be proactive to support the campus programs, groups and organizations.
It too needs the parents to push for returns of historical programs, with improved focus within and upon these programs. Examples: Arts and Crafts Training Programs, Computer Tech, Debate Teams, Band and Other Musical Culture Building Programs.

This is among the most critical periods in their young lives –
The Environment Should Be Like A Magnet, Which Draws Kids To Want To Be There.

Each school is equipped with Auditoriums and many have facilities which can function as Craft and Vocation Training, and Teach “Real Life Economic” of the Working Class Individual. This can be expanded to teach higher level of what is Investment Learning, and how markets works. But first and foremost, teach them how “Real Life Working Class Economic Function”.

We need to begin to teach “Anti Bullying” but first to do so, we have to constructively replace bullying with a sense of Willingness to Be of Assistance. When young people develop their value system of self, and the high point is compassionate understanding, they are less inclined to even consider the concept of bullying.

quoting myself

Start Earlier talking about “Family Dynamics”, the roles, the responsibilities and the duties of what is a family member as it relates to solid principles. Communication, Respect, Consideration, Compassion, the meaning of Social Welfare as it relates to family function and interactions. Teach the responsibility involved in being a youth, what it cost to a family to invest and raise a child.

IF we continue to omit these things, and come with the same old concept of “these are things people should learn at home”; then we continue to promote failure within the scope of these dynamics.

Today, many people come from broken homes and they learn very well how and what is a broken home. As people -we create and re-create what we know and what is within our environment. Many of the parents of these broken homes do not have advanced communication skills, they don’t often have the peace of mind and environment to teach compassion, respect and considerations, as the parent is often caught in the struggle of putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their heads and many parents are struggling with wanting or building a mate relations in their own lives as well. (These are reality truths). We can’t omit to regard and acknowledge these things.

These are truth which exist. We can go backwards a bit to learn how to move forward, because many of these things we have over time omitted to consider, and disregarded to teach, and wrongly assumed these things were taught only in the home; what we have found these are the same things which contribute to the decaying society, because they are NOT always taught in the home.

When Schools focus on Teaching Ethics to the young and give young people some basic understanding of how Philisophy works to function in society. They provide the child with something they can build upon over the years as they progress in their schooling as well as within their general living process. Let’s stop assuming everyone gets this at home, because we know its not true. If we know its not true, then let’s change, and build it within our schools educational programming and function.

If we grasp the True Value Points of This, We contribute to building a better society over-all.

Affluentsociety does not have the same dynamics of such challenges in the ways many poor and working poor families and their children face, nor does the kids who attend private schools who are a part of families who are unbroken and not challenged by economics. They have a different mentality about their lives and their environment.

If we don’t recognize these discernment factors, then we miss the mark in what we need to address.
These are all young people, we need to broaden their horizons about the culture, the realism of life and the variable factors that impact communities. These will be the young people who will inherit the current day communities. If we teach them well, they too grow and understand how to build better community.

There is a serious break down in communication, there is also the disparity in how public school system function relative to individual schools. The field is not level, nor are the provisions matched. This is a big undertaking, due to the decades these differences have been allowed to become unsync’d and out of alignment.

We too have to engage in utilizing the various means of teaching, with understanding of how people learn. Then we can work on things like “common core”, but at some point that has to be some commonest in the core of how people learn. We don’t know enough to do it right yet. If we did there would not be the challenges to common core and there would be a smoother method to transition students to learn with some commonest to the core of what and how they learn.
( I certainly don’t have the answer) But there is an answer. As a thought, I’d say do it progressively, by this as the student progresses from one grade to the next, add in some factors. But to change the whole programming at once, seems to have met many challenges.

Reading and Reading Comprehension is a very big matter. A matter of which more time may well be focused in how to understand written text. Then, phase two, is how to understand verbal nuances.
This may be a big help in the current generations, who are very temperamental, and get inflamed quickly by the various nuisances within conversation. This too, is to include teaching a broader context of “Spelling”, so that kids learn the various usages of words.

It has to become the choice of the children to make the Public Schools be the best.

When we look at the broader spectrum of America, it is and will remain being the Public Schools that will provide the bulk of education to the broader population.

It’s time to focus on Making Public SchoolsTo “Be The Best”.

Get back to teaching the old way, which includes classroom interactivity within the learning process.

Remember, As American people, the Who, What, When, Where and How are very important, the kids will always inquire about the “WHY as well as “WHY NOT”. (allow time within the lesson planning to engage the students).

Let’s not belittle or mislabel them because they are being as Americans are. “Inquisitive”, “Thinking Outside the Box”, and “looking for reason and meaning”, to go into what they are ingesting.

Value of “YOUR” Vote

If nothing else in this nation is important, people should grasp the importance of the vote.

We have things done and people placed in position who make decisions which impact our daily lives, and still people are unaware of these dramatics which have been devastation’s of many sorts and still people are blind and unaware to the point they still do not vote.

IF people had any idea of what we could change, what we could impact and how we could turn American Around and become and make it to be a winning nation for All American people. They would learn the value of the Vote and how to choose whom they cast their votes for. It should be for the principles and goals of the candidate, not the image and commercial madness.

Low voter turn out, thankfully still performed to install a Democratic Governor who is for all the people.
But we have a long ways to go, because if we don’t clean up and clean out the state congress, we are going to find gridlocks that further devastate us.

People should pay attention to any and all upcoming state and local politics.

We have to become responsible and put people in office who have the new day reality politicians mentality of inclusiveness in these important offices, This means choosing those who do not aspire to the old historical bias, bigotry, racism, class-ism and other elements that divided and devastated us as a people, a system and society.

Think in terms of Your Vote’s True Value

Pushing to Learn and Re-Learn what we feel we know.

People simply need to concern themselves with reading and learning, moving past bias and excelling themselves beyond bigotry. In some areas that is a very big challenge. but across the country in many places it is a challenge.
Poverty is an atrocity where ever it exist and it beings with it many things which result to consume many people.
If anyone knows a sure fire way other than education and learning to eradicate, then certainly “speak up”. it is not and has never been confined strictly by race, but history has a great impact on how it was generated and what was put forth to sustain it within various ranks such as among poor whites, and among minorities in the overall general context. Segregation was a 100 yrs long mass program which was designed to insure poverty and many things.
It takes time to work out of such things, the same as for poor whites it takes time to move out of the doldrums of bigoted encampments, low and despaired income circles where educations was secondary and group think was excessive in biases.

MLK said, in the speech at Birmingham, that many poor whites who had challenges to feed their kids and educate their kids were fed a delusion, that their white skin gave them a superior edge. Time has proven again and again that to be a false premise. Black were for decades upon decades taught and treated as inferior and unable to do this or that, time again has proven all that to be wrong and without merit.

Opportunity is what works, be it black or white, education is what works be it for black or whites, and people learning to ‘teamwork” has over and over proven to be the recipe for success in America.

Poverty, the family driven by the ravages of low wages, is a distress on many fronts, and impacts families with often devastating consequences. We have so much talent and creative people lost in the grips of impoverished conditions, and often we add to it, by looking down on them, and distancing ourselves in many ways from them.
Then when occasion brings situations where the individuals from poverty meet those from means, they think they have met someone unique, but what they have come to know is the person as a individual. This is where the dignity of respect finds people communicating as people, without looking down upon each other based on skin tone and economic challenge.

It takes a great deal to learn these things, because the region came from a very turbulent history which fought with great vile to deny this type of humane learning.
Just as one poster stated, in another post:

when people reach that $100k income status as a family”, there becomes a commonality, in economics’ which transcends the race factors, because they have “means”.

But with those means comes also the will to learn, to be civic involved, far and beyond just the church, and to have concern for community and community standards, because they can “afford” to have such concerns.

It is very difficult for anyone to build home with $8.00 an hour, or anything under $12.00 and hour. The living expense and often the work conditions become a great challenges, which does not afford, maintenance upkeep of property, be it rental or otherwise. But people try as best they can to continue to hope for better conditions.
It’s difficult when one has to avoid the “meat section” in the grocery store, because it is cost prohibitive, or they must make meals of things without the regard for the nutritional factors on the packaging, because the point becomes to put a meal on the table as a basic. When the Winter heat bill comes, or the summer cooling bill comes, provided one even has air conditioning. These things make great challenges.

The concept of the poor and the improvised community’s often filled with many mis conceptions about individuals, Yet, without mistake there is crime, there is violence but it is not a party of everyone who is within the spectrum of poverty and ghetto like unsustainable housing conditions. It’s equally the same with people in Trailor parks or trailer parked in the countryside, they are doing what they can with the conditions which surround them, but as individuals, there are many who not only want to do better, there are some anguished because they can’t find ways to do better and become bitter, resentful and even violent. These are conditions of impoverished conditions which spans a wide range of variables.
Maybe we can’t fix it, but we can fix our attitude in how we interpret and how we structure out minds to consider. We have the power to do that.

Mistreatment and ill considered treatment is a devastating things, whether one is wealth or dire broke, it is a horrendous burden to overcome. This we should consider when we face and see people whom we know is facing challenges.

We’ve in many ways forgotten the power of a “greeting” in casual form, such as a simple hello, or even a passing acknowledgment of presence of others. We become a contributor to the challenges so many face when we loose the humanity to simply greet others when in general populated public places.
That by no means does not mean to not be of caution, because crime is not confined by race, in some cases it is not confined to the impoverished. We see well to do people harming and killing each other all the time.

Its up to us as individual to learn and discern to have social graces in our daily doings.

I can tell anyone, sickness, the great equalizer, can befall anyone at any time. and in some cases the one you may have respected less may be the very one who gives you the greatest care, even beyond what one may receive from their own family.

We should be willing to learn these things, and not assume it only befall others, because we could be that “other” it befalls.

These may to some sound like ‘bleeding heart dribble”, but it is the reality we often fear thinking, and become terrified to consider. This is when we ask God for the wisdom and strength of what is “compassionate” awareness.

Rebuilding – From the Bottom Up

Are you prepared for the Results if we don’t think in terms of regenerating Small Business Ownership?  The variables involved are many….

We should be looking far and beyond just ‘Big Box” Industry, and think in terms of how do we develop local entrepreneurship along with looking for Anchor stores. But to saturate the area with Wal-Mart, we have not learned our lesson. Wal-Mart produces a mass of employees, who are mandated because of “LOW PAY” to require public assistance, just to make ends meet. We have no leaders or general public who can stand and demand that Walmart pays a living wage, because some position in our cities employment areas do not pay a living wage to move people above poverty, unless they are part of the actual administration appointments. so the city does not set a standard to even began to have a conversation about wage improvement with places like Walmart. Walmart executive know this, and they seize upon the options to surround us and bleed us, because our administrators are unaware.

Walmart knows these administrators don’t even have a clue to be aware of this. What Walmart see’s is a city full of “Fast Food Establishments” and “Dollar Stores”, ALL well know for being LOW WAGE PROVIDERS. Walmart does not go where people make median income and above on average, they know there is no way they can get close to people in that median and above income range, so their aim is to build in the low wage areas, and target areas on the fringe of falling, so they rush in and within a short period of time, all the struggling small business close shop and Walmart becomes there only option.

So Walmart loves uneducated places, because it can get the city, parish and state to pick up the expense via public assistance for what it takes for employees to maintain basic home and function.

They Prey on Us and we are unaware to even see it. Walmart wants to sell to the citizens low cost pharmacy product, but why aren’t these provided to its own employees as part of a benefit package? Instead, people have to go to LSU or seek out some other means to get limited emergency care. They can’t go and get decent loans for vehicles, because their income is low, so they get stuck with high interest rates, and often within the course of months, results demonstrate they are forced to go to one of the 100’s of payday loan place just to cover expense, all the while getting trapped in this blood sucking cycle.

We have an OBESE society, and both cities are rated at the bottom when it comes to individual health, but all we see building up is a mass of “Fast Food Joints”. Over time, this cost us in health related issues far beyond what we can currently acknowledge.

Look at some our losses.
When Cyber Command was considering its location, WHY were we by passed? some of it may be political, but we have no one in the political arena to fight, and they have nothing of contributory modeling to fight with. We don’t have a Tech Community, we don’t even have stores that specialize in Tech and Tech components for the creative builders.
But we never considered things like “Fry’s Electronics”, or other Tech related establishments. We don’t have any marquee schools that focus on “tech training” establishments, “tech research and development programming”. But we have “previously closed schools, that are IDEAL for these development. but we let them sit empty and boarded up and waiting to deteriorate, or for some Church to want to turn it into yet another Church.

Currently – Wal-Mart has SURROUNDED “BOTH” OF THESE CITIES and in Walmart Executive eyes, its the prime location to CAPTURE the entire population. We are blind to being seized upon. What results when Walmart expands, everything around it results to become closed, out of business, and the whole community began to decline.

I’ve often wondered why the two cities don’t collaborate. Even they are in different Parishes, it would seem the Mayor’s and Councils on both sides would have some type of “relationship”.

I think there is something to learned from both sides by the other. Shreveport certainly could learn from Bossier about “investment and get a better concept of how to embrace the debt needed for growth”. I think Bossier can learn some things from Shreveport, about how to deal with expanding diversity, not just with people but, how land use development and connecting communities. Bossier seems to be so spread out, they build communities, but they don’t seem to have as much connectivity. Shreveport Police may want to collaborate with Bossier Police- to share their ideas on diminishing crime on both sides of the river (all types of crime)

One thing for sure, the concept of Bossier being seen as a “white city” and “Shreveport being seen as a “black city” is something both Mayor’s and Councils of each respective city, need to develop a mutual campaign to squash that imagery. Both Cities should by now have learned the old time process of ‘white flight” is not working and will not work, to build a progressive city. when that concept is pursued, all it does it shift resources from one area to the next, and leave devastation in the wake, making for a checker board mess. with nothing more than aims to go further into the wilderness areas trying to create these fantasies, only to find in 5-10 yrs it did not work….. and start repeating the cycle over and over and over every 5-10 yrs.
then wonder why there is not good equitable growth in property values across the board. In fact, all the cities result to do is lower their own property tax income base as the white flight takes business and everything else with it, and the result is a declined area.

What people don’t get, is when the aims at white flight happens, the decision makers, move further out, once they do, they will not pass policy,or legislation or budget programming, to benefit the whole, they shift all policy focus and legislative measures and budget programming from one area to the next, leaving a mess in the wake.

HOW MANY MORE DECADES OF THIS PROCESS WILL IT TAKE BEFORE PEOPLE LEARN- THAT TYPE OF PLAN RESULTS TO DESTROY CITIES AS A WHOLE. It becomes a deterrent to attracting industry, commercial growth and many other things, and when corporations see the “checkerboard mess”, they plan to avoid the area because they know it will prove to be nothing more than a Human Resources nightmare. It perpetuates to the outside world, that we are still “The Old Segregated South”… No one wants to bring big investment into that kind of environment.

We don’t attract young people, all we attract is “retirement age people” trying to recapture what they think they had in the 1950’s and 1960’s. and some choose not to come, because they don’t want any part of what existed in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Young people can’t stand the thought of moving to anything that resembles “The Old Segregated South”. Therefore young enterprising people simply don’t come. We don’t even get foreigners with big money to invest to even consider our area. They want no part of it. based on the folklore concept they have learned of “The Old Segregated South”.
Over all, it hurts the concept of both cities.
We have maybe close to 300k people between the both cities and their immediate rural outlay. we should be able to build a connected relation between both cities and have a progressive environment.

We should have “TECH SCHOOLS” OF EVERY TYPE ALL OVER THE AREAS, to promote our young people as a skilled population. but we have not figured it out. so we have a mass of young delinquency, both white and black, on both sides of the river. Unsure what to do, how to do and not prominent array of options to choose from. If its not “nursing”, they are at an absolute loss if nursing is not their main interest.
But the older people in charge, can’t see it, because it is not something that was in their environment when they were young. Then we’ve got, “Clergy” on both sides of the river that won’t support anything if they can’t get their name on the marquee and be at the head of the leadership of getting something done.

I’m sure within a full review there are many things both can learn from each other. It might even be good if they mutually learn how to “clean up and develop the river banks on both sides”

It’s an eye sore going to Bossier looking at all the air-conditioning units on top of the facility to the left. and coming to Shreveport, one has to look at the old building with the side of the wall which collapsed during a storm, (how many years ago). The Traffic light coming into Shreveport needs adjusting or something, and there needs to be a left hand turn arrow on Market Street going South.

Texas Street needs a lot of work in Bossier, once you pass the turn point to go to the Casino or the Movie Plex. It has terrible curb appeal all the way down to Benton Rd. It’s “looks like” being in the middle of some Small Midwestern Town that has been forgotten for decades. What a terrible appearance for the entry into a city.
Coming to the Shreveport area from Bossier, it’s a disaster that Shreveport has not been able to fill the buildings along Texas St. Thought there is some progress as you near the Big Church at the end of Texas.
It’s a shame the “Slattery Building” just sits there deteriorating daily. the mess under the sides of the bridge on both sides is a flat out “shame”, to sit there looking like they do, with no concept of a plan to do anything with it.

The changes it will take to change these things may not be forth coming. It takes people with robust ideas to craft the means to make these changes. There is a great deal of “APATHY”, on both sides of the river, because neither side has any concept of plans about how to embrace the youth culture and get them involved in developing change. All the “OLD HEADS” on both sides, want to retain power and position, and will defeat anything to keep their name recognition even if it means grid-locking progress.

At the rate things are going under the Walmart Plan –Walmart may not only be the neighbor, it may well command what results into the declining of the neighborhood.

We’ve become to absorbed in “Media Round Table of Talking-Heads Shows” People who are paid to “generate controversy”.

We the People feed upon this media stuff. (This is true for AMERICAN PEOPLE, Democrats and Republican, Independents and All.) this is how people like the Koch brothers can buy up and plant what they want in the brains of the masses.. we don’t have the grit anymore to be driven to learn, we follow anything paid money tells us to follow).

This is a syndrome that has to change if we are to become what American was once with aims to be and become.

People can’t sit and be swayed by the MEDIA AND THE MULTITUDE OF TALKING HEADS on 24/7 gab-a-thon shows, trying to push an agenda to shape thoughts on policy, and dictate thoughts on measures and bills. And think this is the answer to the ills within society.

It’s a sad time, when “MONEY SPENT” on advertising can dictate what people vote for, rather than Individuals doing the respectful research to understand the actual facts of a matter. Sadly, we have so many who just follow the mob rally call. (the same as people did during the days of lynchings, all it took was one loud mouth to drum up a mob and someones life was in jeopardy as the mob grew and became like a wild posse determined to kill someone).

WE’VE BECOME THE “LAZY” Americans. We let anyone with a title or label or acronyms after their name, come on the media and tell us stuff and we believe it.

We even became so callous and filled with apathy, until we accepted the delusions that it was cheaper to build over-seas, simply because people with titles and labels and paid sponsor’s told us so.

as a result,
We now have costly repair needs to our infrastructure in ALL 50 States, cities that are bankrupt, communities in despair and citizens who can’t earn enough to cover the basics. Yet, we let them (professors and others who are paid to push an agenda) continue to tell us it is Cheaper to Build Overseas. This is an agenda pushed by the wealthy and sanctioned by the politicians whom they can buy to sell this delusion to the people.

Reality is simple, we transferred not only industry, but we transferred what builds nations, which is industry and the jobs they create and the income it recycles in our communities. WE let the likes of the greedy fill our university students with these delusions that we can be a nations of “desk riding suit and tie decision makers” and function as a nation. While we build nothing, we manufacture nothing and we do nothing but market imported goods.

This is the same mentality that took down the Old South. It did not want to pay for labor, and since it could not have slaves anymore, the result is the crop growing industry simply vanished and became nothing more than wasteland. Again, today, here we are still looking for slaves, only this time we go on the other side of the globe and as a result we see the industrial wasteland all across American. While the nations we seek for slave labor, continue to prosper, they’d prospered so well, until we now have to “borrow from them, simply to stay afloat”. IT’S PURE LAZINESS AND GREED DRIVEN INSANITY !!!!

Now, think !!! this is how the political agenda of twisted policy has led us into a madness of despair. It’s got many components mixed within, as we saw in the span from 2000- 2008 -: created wars, decimated industry, aims to sell even the management of our ports, and programmed delusions to extract the equity from homes, simply to give a delusion that the economy was moving; followed by every kind of over-leveraging imaginable. Yet, the party which claim to be fiscal conservatives, resulted to have us at a point today of 17.9 TRILLION in debt, and the tally is not even close to being done. We had a monthly average of more than 90 billion negative continuously for over 8 -10+years, and that extended over into the next administration, because it does not shut off like a water valve so we had 4 more years of this, and only in the past two years are we able to try and control some of the loss factors in a positive way. No one from the party that created this mess, has stood up to take any element of responsibility. They continue to deny and seek ways to avoid accountability. Sadly, the embrace of chosen amnesia, is a recipe for a repeat of the same madness.

Brain’s vs Brute mentality:

The use of smarts is considered weak, because the bluster of the Right wing who is well known for “fight, block and tackle, push with brute aggressions and to hell with logistical thinking and diplomatic methodology. As a result this backward brutish thinking and aggressive arrogance in programming has the media saturated with mis labeling the President because he does not function by the brute aggressions of Republican manner and mode of brute aggression.

Now reality comes to those who follow blindly.

The republicans now have their platform, watch the strip and rip processing which takes places. because they did not feel they destroyed enough over the past 12+ yrs. They will ramp up the war talk, because the military industrialist, will be feeding them as if its throwing grain to a yard of farm animals. unaware they are being fatten for the slaughter. We will see the assault on public services, until it hits the fan, when the multitude of whites who are the dominant users of these programs, find out they have been hoodwinked and misled to think it would only affect minorities.
We can expect to see the big Medicine and Big Pharmacy push bills and measures to allow themselves not only increased charges to the public, but they will want tax breaks on their profits of gouging the public.
It’s standard process in the Republican Agenda, Go back over history, it will be evident when ever there is majority Republican political influences, the country and its people have suffered greatly and we declined more and more as a nation.
ACA would have been better, but fact is it now exist. Why was it not better from the start? REMEMBER and don’t let selective Amnesia dominate your mind and denial to become your focus. The Republicans stripped away many of the provisions which would have made it a program with more provisions and greater benefits to the general public. The original bill called for much more than what resulted, but the positive factor is, it got passed, which did afford many people benefits and services they otherwise would have been denied.

People forget the 6 years of obstructionist policy the Republican operated under, they forget that instead of working to fix a mess created by republican administration, they were focused on trying to embarrass and block the president more than they had a concern for the nation and the mess they left it in. They attacked when he pursued Banking Reforms, Wall Street Reforms, College Loan, Equal Pay, the Jobs Bill, and they squander the stimulus money in aims to gridlock with an aim to not perform, which resulted in monies being wasted in ways that produced limited infrastructure project.

This is how selective Amnesia functions, when people are bombarded with billions of $$$ of ads, all playing on the drama sequence, of “mob Rally Call”.. It has not reason or premise of purpose, it is single dimension.. “we are Anti-Obama, which translates into .. We are Anti- Democrats and on a person level, We are Anti seeing a black man at the helm of American’s Government”. this climate which is unfolding, We must abandon selective Amnesia and pay attention; don’t let selective denial cause your to be blind, and what comes next may open your eyes to what some of you have spent the past 6 yrs denying.

Maybe this is what it will take to finally bring the topic of Nationalized Racism up to the surface. Because if that is not a item this nation deals with in real terms and face up to the bias in this nation, we are doomed by our own ignorance of playing let’s pretend its not so.

Understanding what is “Freedom”

Freedom is first and foremost a Responsibility, for those who choose not to be responsible it is an illusion, for those who are and continue to be responsible it is a reality.

People use words without understanding the depth of what composes their summation.

In a society of responsibility, there are laws, governance, regulations, ordinances and labors, one must be willing to work within those frameworks with a sense of responsibility; then such ones will have no problem with the graces of freedoms.

One might learn a great deal about freedom by studying what is bondage, what is repression, what is suppression and the many things which are adverse to freedom.

Some throw it around and claim “infringement upon their freedoms” but such is often done with an aim at selfishness of vain indulgence, even bigoted disregards which has no concern for the rights of others, some throw it around when they have no regard for the system of governance, and deny the responsibility to work within regulatory systems guidelines, and ignore ordinances, and even too those who want, but want not to invest themselves in the labors necessary to achieve their wants and aims.

Words, contain a summary of much detail, if and as words are understood for what they denote to represent.

One can maintain “freedom” of speech, when they use that freedom, not to defame, and do not choose to indulge in overt or covert defamation of character, integrity and personality. One can maintain the freedom of speech when they don’t use it to perjure themselves. One can use freedoms of speech, when its not directed to inflict harm, bully, attack, belittle and undermine others, it can continue to be freedom of speech as long as it does not aim to bribe, blackmail and cajole people with malicious intent. All, again, the point remains that “Freedom is a Responsibility”…. as long as its responsibly respected.

Combatting Apathy

(In Political Matters)

If and as people come to understand the complicit constructive of bills and measure, they also come to know this is by design to make bills construed with ambiguity via add-on piggyback measures which become burdens upon and against the original bill, with aim to force a pass by embedding it in a must pass measure when they know time constraints will prohibit further deliberations before submission. ( when ear marks were labeled a distasteful things, this ‘add-on piggy back method” took off like contrite method to circumvent by means of…

It’s a method of “wrangling”, none of which any politician was elected to engage such tactical abuse of public trust. It’s an overt and dishonest act upon and against the very public these individuals were mandated by elected votes to uphold and represent. This is what and where Apathy is often found to feed upon, in the disgust the people come to have toward the complicit methodology.
The same ones (Republican and Far Right Groups) talking about budget management and smaller government, are the very same ones playing the add-on piggy back games. then pretend in public generality to claim they are fiscal conservative. Which is farthest from what they are.

They are political opportunist, at the cost and expense of the people, while they play lip service unto a delusion, they support in constituency communication, but in policy vote and bill/measure vote and stance they are the direct opposite. Seeking to squeeze what they can for their region, their associates region and their supporters in political office. This compounds the problem and multiple the cost and diverts funds from the original title and aim of the bill.

Those who claim to be so driven by fiscal conservative aim, should learn more and think deeper as they come to learn more and think in real time awareness, there are no fiscal conservatives, There are simply those who WILL rob Peter to Pay Paul, and there are those who will Rob not only Peter, but Mary, Jane, the baby child and Jake and John to feed their own aspirations and aims. Your votes become traded like poker chips or bets laid at the Roulette table.
Who’s dollars do you think pay for all the legal aid to facilitate these parlor games, with their convoluted jargon to dance around the principle, while whittling away at its core.

We’ve seen nationally on the scale of absurdity, attempts to file suit against a President who acts, when Congress refuse to acts. We have a congress challenging passed bills, when they have crafted nothing better and certainly nothing that better in terms of a re-designed bill.

We have now a congress in vile mode about Immigration, because the President took actions, still Congress has not devised a bill, instead they attack the President for taking actions, and still they have not come up with a Bill. It’s purely insidious, when political posturing is more important than legislating and developing bills and measures to address problems and concerns. Instead they occupy their time wasting money and time, attacking the president and trying to void our his Presidential Rights to take executive actions.
All this demonstrates is a group bent on usurping the President, but bring nothing to the table as viable discussable material.
ACA was built upon Republican plans which was enacted by Gov. Romney, yet, because President Obama put it into actions on a National Scale, the Republican attack, has squared in its cross member, the President, rather than support the bills and work on modifying it with improvements.
They now have gone so far backwards to attack Social Security, in the aims of diminished payments, cut back and blatant aims of denials of SDI by a crude method of funding manipulations, followed by efforts to push forth criteria standards to make it as much as they can muster, to become nothing more than a near death or per-terminal status before a benefit can be paid.

We have apathy widespread after watching 8 yrs (2000-2008) of debacles which led to the massive destabilization of the Middle East, cost us 4-5 Trillion and counting, and more than 10-12 yrs to wind down. Then, over the last 6 yrs, nothing but an oppositional “House” which had a single aim, which was to attack any act and measure the President stood in support of. They have sough by every means to weaken the Presidency, for their vain aims, without understanding the damage they create for coming leaders who lead this nation.

In State (Louisiana) madness, lead to a scheme plan to deny medicare funding, in the face of new funds planned infusion by the benefit of ACA, As a result of such. We watched a rush job to Privatize LSU, under this cloud of money challenges, all of which were generated by fictions to set up the stage for Privatizations of this State Institution. (Criminal Prosecution should be in order for this grand abuse of political position). This was done just as the ACA measure would infuse LSU with new funding from patient medical insurance. The benefits from ACA Funds would have placed LSU in a good rank and financial status to advance its innovative practices and stability and strenthenits core servicing model.  Instead, the aim was to direct those increase funds into the hands of Privatized Industry.  RESULT:  Diminished service, poor staffing of Medical Physicians for Urgent Care and extended wait times for patients and a strained admin staff.  The out come is bad temperament of admin, and slow response to urgent care needs which is critical to avoid long term hospitalization.  Everything about the transistion has become a loss factor to the citizen base who utilize this system, and the employee base who are employed within this system, “Blame Jindal, and his failed policy and convoluted plans.
Currently, CDC acknowledged Louisiana as a high prone region for Flu, but why did not the former LSU set up to have available doctors to treat the influx of patient at urgent care. Instead they allow them to fill the lobby for hours, spreading the germs back and forth among its potential patients. Yet, people won’t write and protest.
For every patient LSU knows there is state and federal funds paying for some elements of treatment, Yet the people are treated as if the facility does not get paid for the treatment provided. This is how and why patients should speak up and stand up and put your voice to paper. We have a weak newspaper, that does not engage to discuss these things. Therefore again, we have much of elements of apathy which prevail.

There is a many things which generate elements of Apathy.

How do we combat Apathy -?
It has to come through information, inspiring society to become knowledgeable, and act with a focus on understanding of the greater good for this nation, its future and the prospering longevity of its people.

Expose with full clarity the bias and ambiguity which panders to the wealthy by hook, crook, shank, slant, and otherwise. Educate the young to pay attention, and informed the aged to know their lives are viable and age does not mean a silence of their voice. Both groups must think in progressive terms. “Not nostalgic melodrama”; as if some vain delusion to re-create a past that is long gone. But to see what is present, and envisage what is better for tomorrow and beyond.

Austerity Posturing and Premise based motivations is a detriment unto growth, prosperity and a future rich with innovations, maintenance management and stability.
See the result of such mentality framework;
Prime example: Our streets are the result of long term austerity based mentality and a utter lack of financial responsibility of long term maintenance viability and sustainability. As a result we have a combined infrastructure default, in every sense. Sewer, Roadways,Electrical Grid with old style telephone poles leaning sideways all across the city. Bedfellow games have prohibited the force of Electric companies to upgrade the telephone poles, and negated to learn the wisdom of using underground wiring channels, in an area prone to high winds, hurricanes, tornado’s and such things. the wind blows and we have 10’s of thousands without power. If a major hurricane hit, we’d be weeks on end without power to much of the citizen population. With no viable plan for relief !!!! We have poles with very heavy transformer leaning at 60 to 120 degree, depending on whether it leans forward or backwards. A sure recipe for massive issues. some do not have transformers and they lean from age and time-wear, with absolutely no widespread plan to do anything about it.
We have trees across the city, with the need to be trimmed and no volume to the staffing and limited outdated equipment, insufficient to facilitate the servicing of these challenges. Then, we pay pay the people unprofessional low wages and expect continual high professional services while being doubly understaffed and ill equipped. These things point directly to Leadership and Agenda, Priority and ultimately a challenge to the Safety and Concern for City and City populations and the deteriorated imagery unto our Landscape of our overall city infrastructure managements system.

Things representative of where society meets in relation to matter.
Go try and take a smart phone from a senior citizen, they will become as agitated as trying to take a smart phone from a young person. (This is where youth and age meet with technology) That is where society meets in matter. This is where society pushes forward within and beyond what is of current matter.

When it comes to pushing the Leaders to Lead, is a big matter. Fear not the elected official, because they were elected by you. You are the same power that can force them to meet the mandates they claim and take actions they purported to pursue. When they become complacent and filled with stagnation, challenge them upon what is tying their hands and what deals they have made which hinder their actions. This can help expose private promises, when matters should be more driven by public interest and public consensus of what is desired.

We can stop the wrongful bartering and illegality of conscripted selling of favors to select crony built networks, by the stand to ensure they are faced with the challenge of inquiry when they fail to act with fair play and open accessibility within vendor relations. The public can place them under severe scrutiny until they return to serving the people, or they will expose themselves if their acts are complicit and against the will of the people as a whole. Jail time makes many speak truths they may have once tried to hide, and the trace of the cronies list can come to light, with jail cells for them as well. No one would hope things move to such a level, but when and if needs arise, those are course which may be undertaken.

It does not matter if you are in a low paid high labor job, or a medium moderate pay office setting, or in some position of decision maker in a company or small business, nor does it matter if you are temporarily unemployed and struggling to make it.

STOP leaving it up to the upper middle class, the wealthy and the elites to make all the decisions, there are more voices in the masses than what is comprised within these groups. When we choose not to let those doing well make dictates and have them enforced through political will, then we break the chain of the well to do dictating and controlling the programmed containment of the masses.

It does not require a university degree to exercise your right to voice, nor does it take a employment status label to validate your voice, it only takes you, being and living and acting as the “American Citizen” of which you are. don’t lead off with an emotional drama sequence, but facts, dates, time, detail of situations and summary of expectation. No 20 minute spin of emotionalism, but a fact based assessment of hardship and relative relief sought from injurious act or conditions you have suffered, as a direct result of malfeasance in office.

Stepping away from Apathy and Stepping up into Actions requires the work of the individual and/or group.
pursue the backing and support, coordinate and plan and be professional in presentation, then stay the course based on principle and facts that support the principle.

Put all on notice, that hoodwinking and public lip service will not suffice, but rightful acts and actions to uphold the trust and integrity of office and stand to be the elected representative people chose, is and will be the only stand allowed by those those in position to act. Anything contrary to that agenda, will be met with severe challenges and no impunity will be afforded.
